Launch of Scuba.Digital

Scuba Digital Launch

We would like to introduce ourselves to those of you who haven’t heard about us yet. More than 10 years ago Jason was running a small travel agency in Swanage, UK, selling liveaboard trips. He was quite frustrated as booking hotels and flights was pretty easy and straightforward. Liveaboards, however, were a total different story. The time-consuming booking process here involved loads of emails being sent back and forth. So he came up with the idea of launching an online liveaboard management and booking system. Back in 2013, ScubaClick was born after a meeting in Munich, Germany.

In the past few years our team of four attended and exhibited many dive shows in the UK, Germany and the United States. One thing we noticed was that both the number of visitors and exhibitors decreased dramatically over the years. And there was one main complaint by both exhibitors and attendees: Expenses. In 2019, a few months before the Corona virus outbreak, we came up with the idea of launching an online dive show. So here we are again. Say hello to Scuba.Digital!

We’re offering the same user experience you would expect from an offline event including keynotes on the main stage, workshops in small groups, 1:1 meetings, and finally stands from the worldwide dive industry. Not to mention show discounts on your next scuba holidays! All this without long lines, loud crowds, and expenses that quietly drain your wallet. All you need is an internet connection, a browser and a hammock. A comfortable couch would work as well.

By the way, Scuba.Digital does not want to replace traditional dive shows. We still love them and rather consider ourselves us a supplement to offline shows. To be fair enough, testing your shiny new dive equipment wouldn’t really work online, would it?

To get our online dive show off the ground, we’re giving away 250 free tickets every month. Paid tickets come with a very affordable price tag of just $20 $10 per Early Bird Seahorse ticket for the entire event. That’s a fraction of the cost you would normally spend. Just think of parking, flights, rental cars, and accommodation for instance.

We’re also still looking for sponsors and exhibitors who want to contribute to the show. Give us a shout if you would like to exhibit for free at our first dive show and learn more about lifetime stand discounts for early adopters and sponsorship opportunities.
